The Challenge

Memoroc required a solution that would enable consumers and dealers to upload videos, images, and other content to a central website, while simultaneously sharing this content with the video production team. Although numerous file sharing solutions existed, incorporating these would have been cumbersome and necessitated additional staff for account management and customer service. Memo Roc also explored APIs and other systems but found the associated costs to be prohibitive.

The Solution

Coulson Solutions developed a website application that allows consumers or dealers to upload videos and content, and quickly choose various audio background music. It includes a review process that enables the end consumer or funeral director to review the video and make recommendations or changes.

Additionally, the assistants can be automatically downloaded to the production studio system, streamlining the process further. The database created during this process was also utilized on the existing memo-roc.com website, allowing for an integrated Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. This facilitates a smooth transition from inquiry, to customer, to final product.

With the introduction of MemoRoc and EverRoc, customers and monument dealers now benefit from an intuitive system that enables automatic uploading and storage of content on video production team servers. The selection and approval of audio, along with email notifications, have greatly streamlined the video creation and production process for MemoRoc and EverRoc devices. This system allows clients to obtain their required outputs swiftly and efficiently, while ensuring the website remains cost-effective and scalable to support millions of customers automatically.
